Kia ora, as one of our valued employers in the Nelson-Tasman, Marlborough and West Coast regions we kindly invite you to be a part of a new YES activation campaign being launched in your community.

Connected Employment Liaison Advisors will be activating YES promotions for rangatahi aged 16-24 years within your regions.

Over the coming months, your local Connected Liaison Advisor may reach out and invite you to participate in promotional initiatives to showcase your industry, business or organisation and inspire the next generation of employees to consider a career in your industry.

✅ Are you looking to future-proof your workforce?
✅ Can you provide insight into pathways?
✅ Do you have current or future employment opportunities?
✅ Are you passionate about your industry/business?
✅ Do you have employment insights & knowledge you're keen to share?

Do you check any of the above boxes? Yay! Keep an eye on your inbox for an invitation from your local Connected Liason Advisor.

What opportunities are available in your region with Connected?

Host a digital Open Session with Youth Employment Success

Are you interested in engaging with rangatahi in the virtual world? Connected & YES want to hear from employers that would be willing to offer virtual open sessions.

Traditionally open sessions have been about employers physically opening their business's doors and introducing their business and the industry to those considering potential career paths or job options.
In our virtual open sessions, we'll be taking this idea and flipping it on its head by delivering the open sessions virtually,  making it more accessible for both employers and rangatahi.

Be a role model for Inspiring the Future

Inspiring the Future Tertiary Education Commission

What is Inspiring the Future?

At an Inspiring the Future event, young people hear from volunteer role models in their communities, learn about different jobs and why people love doing them, as well as their pathways and challenges they faced along the way.

For role models who volunteer to take part, Inspiring the Future is a great way to give back to their community and be seen as a positive role model for our young people.
