Canterbury Spinners have been operating from Oamaru since 2013 but the site has had continuous yarn and textile production since the 1880's. 'The Mill' is the last servicing Alliance textiles mill in NZ and under current ownership is going extremley well. Canterbury Spinners is owned by Godfrey Hirst which in turn is owned by Mohawk International which has over 40,000 employees worldwide
About the job
The jobs we have available involve helping to turn wool and other textiles into the worlds best carpet yarn. We use modern machinery and technology along with extensive training to help you be an effective operator. We operate 24 hrs per day 5 days per week with fixed 8 hour shifts.
About you
We are seeking a couple of people who are keen to do well and have the ability to learn. We will teach you the skills. For your part you need to have a positive attitude, care about your safety and that of others and be proud to put out quality work.
What to expect
